Public Notice - Smith Road Under Construction Week of September 8-11

Smith Road will receive a full blacktop overlay beginning on Monday September 8, 2025 through Thursday September 11, 2025. This schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather.

What to expect:

Monday - Crews will be performing milling and key cuts of all intersections on Smith Road.

Tuesday - Full overlay of Smith Road from Congo Road to Huntsville Drive.

Thursday - Full overlay from E. Philadelphia Avenue (Route 73) to Detar Road.

Please plan ahead and use caution in the areas where roadwork is being performed. If the roadway is closed, please use an alternate route for that day so that our workers can perform their duties safely.
