Parks & Recreation
Douglass Township's existing system of parks and open space has grown over the past ten years. Today, a total of seven parks and open space areas are owned and maintained by the municipality. These parks comprise approximately 79 acres, less than 20 of which are considered active recreational open space
All public recreational facilities are located in Douglass Park which is located behind the township building on E. Philadelphia Ave. Douglass Park includes a ball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, a volleyball court, picnic pavilions and playground equipment. The park is centrally located and provides residents with much needed recreational facilities.
