The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy in coordination with Douglass Township has scheduled a volunteer opportunity for the Douglass Park Rain Garden project. We are seeking volunteers to assist with planting 1,000 perennials and 25 trees in and around our new rain garden located in Douglass Park.
When: Wednesday October 29, 2025 from 10:00am to 3:00pm
Where: Douglass Park - 128 Merkel Rd, Gilbertsville, PA 19525. (Park in the lot for Douglass Park located behind the Douglass Township Administration Building)
This project is designed to strengthen local ecosystems, improve water quality and create important wildlife habitats.
